With School to Home Connections, we strive to help students, families, and schools work cooperatively to learn, grow, and succeed in the community. We work with children and youth whose classroom learning is affected by social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
Support for students, Families, and educators
A Collaborative Approach to the Student
The wraparound model of School to Home Connections supports the social, emotional and behavioral health of each student, staff member, and family. With growing evidence of the effectiveness of wraparound services, our model is an inclusive approach that supports the whole student while utilizing the school, the family, and the community as a collaborative part of the intervention. By fostering positive educational growth through caring for the whole person, we are able to support students in overcoming the barriers that stand in the way of their growth and educational success.
Training and Support for Educators
Teachers and paraprofessionals face a harder job than ever. Our workshops train educators in healthy and supportive ways to respond to students' challenges, while also caring for themselves. Our facilitators specialize in trauma-sensitive practices, burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma resolution.
