Experience working with children and families is essential; group experience and knowledge of family court systems preferred. Position includes administrative support for credentialing and insurance billing. Professional liability insurance and background check required.
Provide intensive community-based services to DCYF-involved youth and families in the home, school, and natural environment. Services provided by a Family Connections Specialist may include, but are not limited to, functional support, skill building, therapeutic processing, coordination of care, access to appointments, coordination of education, vocation, and recreation, compliance with court orders, and crisis prevention and intervention.
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health, Psychology, or a related field required, along with work experience, reliable transportation, valid drivers license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
